Our Founders
TANCREDI BOTTO
Ph.D. | CEO & Co-Founder
Holding a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics from Vrije Universiteit (Amsterdam), Tancredi bridges fundamental science with industrial application. A former MIT scientist, he brings 13 years of deep oil & gas industry experience specializing in advanced density logging technologies. As a true muography pioneer, he designed and executed the world’s first pilot of a borehole-deployable muon detector in northern Canada in 2012. Beyond his technical leadership, Tancredi is an avid weightlifting enthusiast and occasionally enjoys hosting chamber music concerts at home.
RICARDO REPENNING
M.Sc. | COO & Co-Founder
Ricardo combines an elite engineering background with proven entrepreneurial drive. Holding an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and research experience at TU Munich, he honed his expertise designing electric vehicles at BMW. He successfully co-founded two technology startups in Chile and currently serves as a professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica. Fluent in five languages, he is a passionate electric vehicle enthusiast and an amateur football goalkeeper.
